Filters
Filters are handy tools used regularly throughout the GrandCMS administration. You may type into one of the information field for the item on the item list. Pressing Filter will "filter out" all the items in the list that do no match the criteria entered in the space, leaving only the items that match. With Filters, you can quickly locate any information stored in list form. Information, Categories, Users, Reports, Menus, and more all use Filters as the main search tool to locate items in a list.
For examples, if you would like to look up an information in the information list, you can use "Filter" as a shortcut to search for that information. This can be helpful when there is large amounts of information and you would like to edit a specific information without having to browse through every page for it. The search boxes are located in the first row above the information list.
The text based filters have autocomplete function which help you find the specific item. You have to write only just a part of the text to start the autocomplete or filter.
In the screenshot above, "ert" is typed into the "Information Title" information field. Autocomplete and after press "Filter" only displays what matches "ert". The items above displayed because they title containing the word "ert" in this site. If the "ert" wording was present in more information title, the "Filter" button would display all of them.
